Connecting a SensorPush Sensor to Your Humidor

A good sensor is the difference between hoping and knowing. Here is how to put one to work inside your humidor and see its readings in Humidor Luxe.

Humidor Luxe is not affiliated with or endorsed by SensorPush. SensorPush sensors are purchased separately from SensorPush or authorized retailers.

What you need

  • A SensorPush temperature and humidity sensor, set up in the SensorPush app per their instructions.
  • For continuous, remote readings, a SensorPush gateway that uploads data to SensorPush's cloud. Without one, readings sync when your phone is nearby.
  • A Humidor Luxe account.

Placement

Place the sensor in the middle of the humidor, away from direct contact with the humidification device. In larger cabinets, consider sensors on more than one shelf: humidity stratifies.

Connect

  1. Open Monitoring in Humidor Luxe.
  2. Choose Connect SensorPush and sign in to authorize read access to your sensor data.
  3. Select which sensor belongs to which humidor.

Set your range and alerts

Choose the humidity and temperature range you want to hold (many collectors choose 65–70% RH and 65–70°F). If readings drift outside it, Humidor Luxe can send you an email alert.

No sensor? No problem.

Log readings manually from any hygrometer or import a CSV. Charts and history work exactly the same.

Next: read the humidity guide to choose your target range.
